Raktim Blood Donors Community
The second founding anniversary of a social organization called Raktim Blood Donors Community has been celebrated in Siddhirganj, Narayanganj with an exceptional event.
The founding anniversary was held at noon on Sunday (July 3) at the Jamia Ahmadia Darul Quran Bangladesh Madrasa adjacent to the Mizmiji Batanpara Bill.
At that time more than one and a half hundred orphans of the madrasa were given lunch. Earlier, after the Johar prayers at Baitur Razzak Jame Mosque, prayer mahfils and milads were organized on the occasion of the founding anniversary of the organization. Mujibbagh Jame Masjid Khatib and Jamia Ahmadia Darul Quran Bangladesh Ustad Maulana Rafiq Sahib, CBK Jame Mosque Muazzin Hafez Tauhid Sahib, all the volunteer members of the organization including all the students of the Madrasa participated in the prayer mahfil and milad. At this time, an honorary memento was given to the Raktim Blood Donors Community by Jamia Ahmadia Darul Quran Bangladesh Madrasa.
In his speech, Mujibbagh Jame Masjid Khatib and Jamia Ahmadiyya Darul Quran Bangladesh's Ustad Maulana Rafiq Sahib said that such a good act of worship as blood donation is second to none. It is a great thing to stand by the danger of people with blood from one's own body. From today we will also work with them in blood donation activities. I wish them to continue this great work in the future.
Muktadir Hossain Hridoy, president of the Raktim Blood Donors Community, said, "We have given free blood to more than 1,200 people so far in the last two years." Which was a lot of challenging things for us. We all do this work as well. If any person needs blood, we manage the blood immediately. Since the establishment of the organization, we have given more importance to finding blood donors and serving humanity. As long as we are alive, we will continue to do human service like blood donation.
It may be mentioned that this social organization established in Siddhirganj on 3rd July, 2020 has been conducting various public awareness activities besides blood donation, distribution of relief to flood victims, distribution of winter clothes among those suffering from cold, standing by helpless people, cleaning activities, Iftar among children in different orphanages.
