Narayanganj: Workers and employees of Paradise Cables Limited held a protest program in Narayanganj demanding unpaid salaries.
On Thursday (February 9) afternoon, the workers held this protest program in the premises of Chashara Press Club of the city.
During this time, the workers raised various demands including 18 months salary arrears.
Industrial Police Sub-Inspector (Intelligence) Bashir Ahmed said that lay-off has been announced in some sections of the factory. At that time the workers have presented some of their demands. All parties have discussed with the Directorate of Factories. The matter is still under discussion.
