They are both teachers of Shahinur Kindergarten School in Kadamtali area of Siddhirganj. In this case, various discussions are going on in the area.
According to the locals and the family of the girl, after a year of love, they got married secretly (without informing the family members) on October 16, 2020. Abir Hossain Dhali sent a divorce notice to his wife two months after the marriage. But the girl has not accepted it yet. The girl later filed a dowry case in the court. The proceedings of that case are ongoing. The girl told the media that the two of us used to teach at Shahinur Kindergarten School in Siddhirganj. From there our identity, love and marriage. Abir's family did not accept me after marriage as I was financially indigent. A few days ago, Abir's mother informed that his marriage with Abir's cousin has been fixed.
In a tearful voice, the girl further said, I want to sustain my family. Asked how many times a girl gets married, he added that after the marriage, Abir's sister asked me to settle the matter with Rs 50,000. But I want my family to survive. I am currently mentally ill. When Abir Hossain wanted to contact Dali about this, his number was blocked. Sub-Inspector (SI) of Siddhirganj Police Station Safayedur Rahman, who went to the spot, said, "Before we went to the spot, the locals brought the girl down from the roof." Seeing that the locals were able to save him, we left the scene.
It may be mentioned that Shahinur Kindergarten School is run by Arif Chanchal Dhali, elder brother of the victim's husband Abir Hossain Dhali.
