Human chain
The family of the deceased and locals have formed a human chain to protest the brutal killing of Jahangir Alam Zaher, a resident of Gognagar, who was demanding money owed to him in Narayanganj, and to demand punishment for the accused.
The human chain was formed in front of the Narayanganj Press Club in the city's Chashara on Monday (December 2) morning.
On November 13, Jahangir was called to Fajr Ali Tower on the pretext of paying the money owed to him. The accused detained him and beat him there. Jahangir later died on the way to the hospital.
A murder case has been filed with Narayanganj Sadar Police Station in this incident.
